Giuseppe Mascarello Dolcetto d’Alba Santo Stefano di Perno 2023 is a dark, refined and expressive interpretation of the variety, crafted by one of Piedmont’s most historic and respected families, whose winemaking roots reach back to the mid-1800s.

The wine shows a deep ruby colour and opens with blackberry, red cherry, lavender and a touch of sweet earth. The palate is dry, vibrant and finely structured, with ripe tannins, bright acidity and a lifted energy that gives the fruit clarity without weight. Unoaked and aged in inert tanks, it retains a pure, territory-driven expression of Santo Stefano di Perno. The 2023 vintage is praised for its freshness, precision and depth — lively and approachable, yet with enough concentration to develop gracefully over the next 4–5 years.
