Il Marroneto – Ignaccio Rosso di Montalcino 2022 is a characterful Rosso that captures the youthful energy of Il Marroneto’s classical style. While the estate’s Brunellos are monumental wines for long aging, Ignaccio offers a more approachable expression – made from the same Sangiovese Grosso grapes as the Brunello, but bottled earlier after 22 months in oak.

The wine shows a deep ruby red color with a bouquet of vibrant cherry, currant, and wild strawberry, layered with violet, herbs, and a touch of citrus. On the palate, it combines elegance and freshness with fine-grained tannins, lively acidity, and a long mineral finish. This is a Rosso with true Brunello character – refined, balanced, and immediately inviting.

Ignaccio 2022 is ready to enjoy now for its charm and vibrancy, yet it also has the structure to develop gracefully over the next 5–8 years.
