Le Cinciole Petresco 2020 is 100% Sangiovese, grown on the estate’s highest-elevation vineyard in Panzano in Chianti. Crafted with precision and patience, it stands among Tuscany’s most refined and characterful expressions of the grape — a wine of depth, purity, and effortless balance.

The Vigna Sottobosco parcel sits at 470–480 meters above sea level on galestro and sandstone soils. Farmed biodynamically, the grapes ferment naturally in cement vats before maturing for two years in French oak and an additional year in cement to preserve freshness and structure.

The bouquet reveals wild herbs, flowers, menthol, and licorice. On the palate, it unfolds with dark cherry, red stone fruit, and mineral clarity. The texture is silky, the tannins polished, and the finish long and composed.

Antonio Galloni (Vinous) awarded 97 points, calling it “one of the most distinctive wines in all of Italy.” A Sangiovese of precision, finesse, and remarkable aging potential.
